The Sella Ronda is a Highlight in the Dolomites! The most famous ski tour of the four Dolomites passes, not far from our hotel.

It's possible to ski around the entire massif Sella, orange is the clockwise direction and green for the counter clockwise.

The Sella Ronda Tour is a unique and promising experience with a wonderful panoramic view on the Dolomites , You should n't miss it, during your skiing holiday in South Tyrol! From our Abinea Hotel you need only 15 minutes with the ski shuttel.

Advanced skiers can complet the tour in 5-6 hours,

Sellaronda - the ski carousel of the Dolomites

Sella Ronda signed in orange - for the clockwise direction: 13,5 kilometres along the sella massiv with start in Selva. With the cable car Dantercepies goes up to Gardena Pass, then to Colfosco where the chairlift Borest takes you to Corvara. After you take the cable car Boè to get up to Campolongo Pass, where the route for Arabba begins. With the exciting cable car Portavescovo to the Pont De Vaux , then to the Passo Pordoi Canazei and back to the Sella Pass. In additional you have the possibility to come back to Castelrotto by the Secede and the Alpe di Siusi.

Sella Ronda signed in green - for the counter clockwise route: starting with the cable car Ciampinoi to Plan de Gralba, where you will pass the "boulder city" to the Sella Pass. Take the charilift Sasso Levante to Salei valley, up to the Pordoj Pass and finaly to Arabba. You will come to Campolongo Pass where you will get the charilift to Crep dl Mont and continue down to Corvara. At Colfosco you will find a long cable car, that takes you up to the Gardena Pass. Follow the slope that goes through the forest down to Val Gardena. Actual downhill skiing making a total of about 38 kilometers and 655 meters!

Sella Ronda TIP: In both directions you can make a stopp in the beautiful Edelweiss valley . It is advisable to start early in the morning, especially if it is the first time you will tried it. There are may refuges along the circuit for having a break.
