Witch Tour on the Alpe di Siusi

The “Witch Tour” on the Alpe di Siusi is fun for young and old. This tour got its name from the witch-hunt at the Castle of Presule. Starting points of this exciting tour are in Ortisei,Spitzbuehl, and Compaccio. It has seven stations- they include the fun park, the witch-back-slope, the witch chimney- an exciting tunnel made of snow, and the witch park with alive witch figures. And of course you will also visit the famous “Witch-Benches”, on which the witches rest and brew clouds and fog. Fortunately, there exists a magic elixir for bad weather: take as much snow as you can see, add sunshine to it, put a bit of vacation mood with it and finish it up with the magic of the wooden huts! This is not magic at all, it is purely vacationing on the Alpe di Siusi!

Ski Tour Val Gardena World Cup (WC) 1970

The Ski Tour “WC 1970”, which belongs to some of the most beautiful slopes of the Val Gardena Valley, starts in Ortisei, Santa Cristina, or Selva di Val Gardena depending on your choice. If you start in Ortisei, you will continue to ski from the Seceda Heights over Santa Cristina to the Mont de Seura and- after an athletic descent via Ciampinoi, Plan de Gralba and Piz Seteur into the enjoyable ski area in between the Sella Massif and the Sassolungo Mountain. The trip to Selva di Val Gardena leads across the giant slalum-path, on which Karl Schranz has won the World Cup in 1970. Dantercepies is the next goal and the World Cup Women’s descent “Cir”, which was named after the peaks surrounding the slope. WC winner of 1970: Anneroesli Zryd. The descent, which name sounds like music for ski racers is also located along this route: “Saslong”. The Swiss Bernhard Russi could not be beaten here in 1970. The tour leads further on top of the Col Raiser during the afternoon sun and ends with a romantic, nine kilometer long descent into Ortisei.
